Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a research team in order to curate accurate, timely, insightful and comprehensive data and intelligence.
  • Identify and analyse the most relevant information for Beacon and its users.
  • Coordinate with UK based clients on a regular basis to understand and meet the project deliverables.
  • Manage the activities required towards launch of a beacon module and further support the needs towards maintenance post launch.
  • You will be part of a global network of life science researchers working on dynamic, fast growing products in exciting, cutting edge life science areas.
  • Perform data management activities on the assigned project in a timely and efficient manner Generate queries to clarify and improve the quality of the data.
  • Strong understanding of Clinical Trials and their data
  • Strong understanding on preclinical data

 

What attributes will you need?

  • An ideal candidate might be a subject matter expertise in various drug therapies in field of oncology (Antibody drug conjugate/Bispecific/Adoptive cell therapy/Checkpoint modulators/oncolytic virus/Gene therapy) and experience with managing a team of resources.
  • Proven ability to deal with complex life science concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a research role and/or data-oriented role is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience and understanding in the field of pharmacology, drug discovery and development and clinical trials would be a bonus.
  • Good project and people management skills are a must have.
  • Results-oriented, passionate about delivering value and impact, proactive.
  • Most of all, you will need to be curious and willing to learn at all times.

 

Eligibility:

  • Masters in Pharmacy (except Pharmacognosy)/Biology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Pharm D with minimum 2-3+ years’ of relevant experience
  • Bachelors in Pharmacy (except Pharmacognosy)/Biology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry with at-least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Candidates with additional Clinical research diploma or relevant courses can apply.
  • Candidate should have basic computer skills, Microsoft Office & detailed Internet Knowledge.
  • Candidate should have one research paper published
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment

Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving international sales (US, UK, Europe, and beyond) of our outsourced data research and lead generation solutions. This role involves strategic sales planning, cold calling, client acquisition, and account management. Success in this position will come from a deep understanding of B2B data, data management processes, and the ability to articulate how our services can address diverse client needs.


 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute an end-to-end sales plan that targets global markets, focusing on corporate/B2B clients needing data research or outsourced lead generation solutions.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine pricing models, define revenue goals, and forecast sales pipelines.
  2. Prospecting & Lead Generation
    • Identify potential corporate clients through cold calling, email outreach, and networking on professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
    • Leverage industry events, webinars, and online forums to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
    • Conduct sales presentations or demos showcasing our list building, data mining, email appending, and data enrichment solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts, proposals, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements), ensuring profitable deals aligned with company objectives.
    • Build strong relationships with new clients, exploring upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g., additional data services).
  4. Solution Selling & Consultation
    • Understand client pain points in lead generation, demand generation, or contact research activities, and provide consultative solutions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Senior Managers, Directors) to design custom data solutions that meet clients’ specific requirements.
    • Communicate the value proposition of outsourcing data research, including cost savings, scalability, and improved time-to-market.
  5. International Market Penetration
    • Identify potential growth segments in global markets; adapt sales tactics for cultural and regulatory differences (e.g., GDPR compliance in Europe).
    • Monitor competitor activities in the B2B data outsourcing industry to refine positioning and ensure competitive pricing.
  6. Reporting & Analysis
    • Track and report sales metrics—pipeline growth, quota achievement, conversion rates—using CRM tools (e.g., ZOHO).
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends, client feedback, and any product/service improvements needed.
  7. Team Management & Collaboration
    • Lead a Team of 3-4 Sales/BD Executives.
    • Work closely with Marketing to create targeted campaigns, webinars, or email shoots to generate interest in data services.
    • Monitoring of all marketing material, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.
    • Coordinate with the delivery teams to ensure timely project kick-offs, implementation, and ongoing quality of service.
  8. Compliance & Best Practices
    • Stay updated on data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and incorporate compliant sales and data handling practices.
    • Follow ethical sales standards and maintain professionalism in client engagements.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; MBA in Sales or Marketing would be a plus

Experience:

  • 10+ years in Corporate/B2B sales or international sales, preferably selling outsourced services, KPO/BPO solutions, or data-related offerings.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and client acquisition, with demonstrable success in closing deals across global markets.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of data mining, data collection, data validation, data enrichment, list building, and other data outsourcing solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, ZOHO) and sales automation tools.
  • Excellent cold calling and negotiation skills.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Outstanding written and spoken English; ability to present value propositions clearly to international audiences.
  • Skilled in building rapport with C-level executives, directors, and managers.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones (2 to 10 pm shift)
  • Occasional travel (domestic or international) may be required for conferences or client meetings.
